The Learning, Innovation and Knowledge (LINK) unit supports, connects and collaborates with colleagues and partners to ensure impactful multi-country programs based on sound methodologies, evidence of progress towards objectives, and lessons learnt on what works for an inclusive, secure, equitable and sustainable world in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring high quality. The LINK unit works to understand and convey the intended and unintended results and impact of all programmes and campaigns, and delivers on the Oxfam Novib knowledge and learning agenda, with timely and high-quality products. In short, the unit is responsible for leading and overseeing organizational learning processes that include evaluations, the development of tools and approaches, adaptive management and the design of new projects and campaigns, working in cooperation with many partners and colleagues.
This internship will support the LINK Unit share information between units and within the organization, reviewing the reports and documents prepared by the different projects and teams, identifying the main activities, results and lessons, and presenting this as project and thematic track records. The intention is to show the skills gained with the implementation of specific activities, or the experience of each team, when presenting a new project proposal. This information can also be useful when introducing new colleagues to the work we do and when writing a unit’s or the organization’s annual report. With this all we want to demonstrate accountability, show that a team learns from its own experience, and provide evidence that its approaches are grounded in practice rather than theory alone.
