We are currently hiring for two DevOps Specialist roles within our ICT Unit:
- DevOps Specialist (ERP)
- DevOps Specialist (Salesforce)
Both roles are key in strengthening our digital backbone and supporting Oxfam Novib’s ongoing digital transformation.
Job description
1. DevOps Specialist (ERP)
Your Role
As a DevOps Specialist (ERP), you will manage, configure, and improve Oxfam Novib’s ERP applications (e.g. Unit4, SAP or similar). You combine functional and technical application management and work closely with business and ICT stakeholders.
You ensure the ERP landscape is stable, secure, integrated, and continuously improving, supporting automation, data quality, and operational efficiency.
2. DevOps Specialist (Salesforce)
Your Role
As a DevOps Specialist (Salesforce), you will manage and continuously improve Oxfam Novib’s Salesforce environment (Sales Cloud and related products). You ensure Salesforce is stable, scalable, well-integrated, and aligned with business needs.
You act as a key expert in Salesforce DevOps practices and support our broader digital transformation.
What You’ll Do (Both roles)
- Manage Applications: Administer, configure, and maintain ERP or Salesforce environment to ensure they are stable, secure, and aligned with business needs.
- Drive Improvements and Automation: Identify process improvements and support automation initiatives that reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
- Enable Users: Support User Acceptance Testing, contribute to training, and help improve user adoption of the systems solutions. and provide L2and 3 User support
- Support ERP Transformation: Contribute to ERP or Salesforce upgrades, platform changes, data migration, system configuration, and implementation activities.
- Coordinate Releases and Updates: Manage software updates, patches, releases, and stakeholder communication around system changes.
- Support Integrations and Data Flows: Work with the Integration Engineer to maintain integrations, APIs, and data flows between the systems environment and other internal and external systems.
- Monitor System Performance: Monitor application health, logs, and performance metrics, and support incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Vendors and Partners: Coordinate with systems vendors and implementation partners on roadmap discussions, releases, development, and escalations.
- Maintain Documentation: Keep technical documentation, integration , release notes, lifecycle documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles up to date.
- Ensure Security and Compliance: Apply security, privacy, data management, and change management standards in collaboration with relevant ICT and business teams.
Your Team
You will join the ICT Unit within the Finance and Operations Department. The ICT Unit plays a critical role in enabling secure, reliable, and integrated digital systems across Oxfam Novib.
You will work closely with DevOps specialists, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Business Intelligence, Infrastructure, Information Security, external vendors, and business stakeholders , You will work in close coordination with the Business Applications and Operations Lead.
Together, the team ensures that our systems support Oxfam Novib’s mission, strengthen operational excellence, and enable better services for colleagues, country offices, partners, and stakeholders.
Who are we looking for? (both roles)
You are a technically skilled, proactive, and service-oriented professional who enjoys managing complex applications and improving systems that support organisational impact.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in application management (functional + technical)
- Experience with ERP systems (for ERP role) or Salesforce (for Salesforce role)
- Strong understanding of integrations, APIs, and data flows
- Good SQL and data query skills
- Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, deployments, releases)
- Experience in Agile and Waterfall environments
- Experience working with vendors, developers, architects, and stakeholders
- Certifications (DevOps, ERP, or Salesforce) are a plus
- Professional English required; Dutch is an advantage

- Oxfam Novib offers an attractive and honest benefits package, including a year-end allowance and yearly pay increase from the Collective Labor Agreement. Moreover, we offer complementary options to choose from. The salary range for this position is set in scale 8 with a salary range between €3.234,- and €4.800,- gross depending on experience, based on 36 hours a week.
- We are currently working hybrid (50% in the office in The Hague and 50% at home).
