FLEXIBLE WORKING We recognize the importance of flexible working arrangements in building the Oxfam of the future. However, for this role, the work will primarily be office-based, complemented by frequent field visits to engage with relevant stakeholders and targeted communities. Exceptional arrangements may be considered on a case-by-case basis in accordance with National Staff Terms and Conditions.

Team Purpose To act with poor people as a force for change in addressing the causes of poverty, suffering, and injustice, and alleviating their symptoms. The project officer will carry out his/her tasks under the supervision of Economic Justice Development Manager and under the Economic Justice Program in OPT/I. Job Purpose The purpose of the Project Officer role is to provide comprehensive coordination and management support for Economic Justice (EJ) projects in the West Bank. This involves ensuring the successful implementation of project activities through adherence to donor and organizational standards, providing technical expertise in key areas such as market development, agriculture value chains, and green sector transitions. The role aims to drive sustainable economic growth and improved livelihoods by advancing green transition strategies, promoting decent working conditions, and enhancing financial and market access for cooperatives and SMEs. By focusing on capacity building, grant management, and fostering effective partnerships with stakeholders, the Project Officer ensures the efficient and impactful delivery of project objectives, contributing to sustainable development and resilience in the targeted communities.
