Team Purpose To act with poor people as a force for change in addressing the causes of poverty, suffering, and injustice, and alleviating their symptoms. The West Bank community engagement and outreach officer will carry out his/her tasks under the supervision of the Economic Justice Program in OPT/I. Job Purpose The West Bank community engagement and outreach officer will be a key member of Oxfam’s Economic Justice team in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and Israel (OPTI), supporting global and national advocacy efforts under the Economic Justice Programme. Their role focuses on empowering marginalized Palestinians to safeguard their rights and achieve greater, gender-equitable control over their lives and resources through meaningful community engagement, advocacy for equitable resource access, and strengthening partnerships at local and national levels |
