DEPARTMENT PURPOSE: TEAM PURPOSE: to contribute to the development and implementation of resource mobilization strategies to establish strategic partnerships between Oxfam and institutional donors to identify and develop new funding opportunities and overall compliance and grant management
JOB PURPOSE: The Grants and Compliance Officer supports the effective management of Oxfam's institutional grant portfolio by ensuring compliance with donor and Oxfam requirements throughout the project lifecycle. The postholder supports donor contract management, reporting, compliance monitoring, grants administration, and information management across active projects. Working under the supervision of the Grants and Compliance Coordinator and Business Development Manager, the officer works closely with Programme, Finance, MEAL, and the Bid Development Unit to ensure strong grant performance, timely reporting, effective risk management, and smooth transition from award to implementation. The role also provides compliance input into proposal development and supports pre-award compliance reviews where required.
